NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN TOURISM: GUIDING (LEVEL 4) 20155

Prospective tourist guides should obtain the National Certificate in Tourism: Guiding at Level 4 (20155) of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Thereafter, the guide has to register with the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEAT) through the Provincial tourism authorities.

Makiti Guides & Tours (Pty) Ltd provides students the opportunity to study by combining online theory ( using this Cultural Guiding Virtual Campus) and offline training (workshops & practical). Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available.
